Justin Bieber wears Gas Mask, shop at ACNE in LONDON

 

 Style universe, help us give up a rousing welcome to the newest celebrity accessory trend and every paparazzo's biggest nightmare: full-face masks. On his recent trip to London, Justin bieber joined the ranks of fellow face-shielders kanye west and Tyler the creator with this here black GAS MASK he wore to go shopping at ACNE. Taking the murdered out all-black-everything look to the extreme, Biebsy rolled up to the Swedish label's London boutique wearing (toe to top) patent leather dress shoes, slim fit leather pants, a black tank top, a zip-up minimalist leather jacket, and was accessorized with the aforementioned full-face respirator, a black Brooklye net snapback, and his go-to Jesus piece. Bieber's gas mask is certainly no match for yeezy's rhinestone margiela or "kanyeti" feather number but it does put Justin in fashionable company. We've seen Mr. West, Rocky, and Tyler all wear masks for months (years for deadmau 5and countless others), but they've all taken the frequency with which they sport the mug-covering accessory to new, near-ubiquitous heights in recent days. Does this mean Bieber's flirtation mask could become a regular thing? That masks are a bonafide fashion trend? Will we start wearing masks? We don't really have answers to these questions yet, but we're signing off with one of our favorite mask-wearers of all time.
